After spending more than two decades working in accounting, finance, taxation, and management consulting, Dr. Humayun Chaudhary noticed the same pattern over and over again. Business owners were passionate about growing their companies, families wanted peace of mind with their taxes, and entrepreneurs had big dreams—but many struggled to navigate the increasingly complex world of accounting and tax compliance. Too often, they received generic advice instead of personalized guidance.

While teaching taxation at the Pilon School of Business for over ten years and serving as a course director at York University for nearly two decades, Humayun had the privilege of educating the next generation of accountants and business leaders. The classroom kept him connected to the latest developments in tax policy, while his consulting work allowed him to see firsthand the real challenges faced by Canadian businesses and individuals.

Armed with an exceptional academic background—including a Ph.D. in Tax Policy, multiple master’s degrees, and professional accounting designations from Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom—Humayun realized that knowledge alone wasn’t enough. What truly made a difference was using that expertise to simplify complicated problems and help clients make confident financial decisions.

That vision led to the creation of Indus Canada CPA Professional Corporation.
